A Network For Powering Smart Agents, this is how Morpheus was defined in Whitepaper V1 marking an important moment in history. With Morpheus, everyone will have access to a powerful personal AI, capable of thinking alongside them and taking actions that serve their best interests. Just as personal computers and search engines once empowered individuals, today we have the same opportunity with personal AIs. Morpheus integrates an ideal blend of technologies LLMs, Agents, and Web3 into a public network designed to accelerate the widespread distribution and use of Smart Agents. Communicating naturally with your Smart Agent, which understands your tasks and queries, mirrors how Google’s search engine made the early internet accessible to the general public. Now, Morpheus is opening up Web3 to billions of users.
Morpheus community believes that the economic alignment of incentives is ultimately how the best outcomes from the coming of AGI can be secured. Anyone who shares Morpheus’ values is invited to join and help secure an open-source, permissionless, and free future for all.
Smart Agents should be available to everyone as a public good. To achieve this, the community is developing Smart Agents that can be installed locally and run on laptops with minimum of 16GB of RAM. This allows faster execution, better performance, and full confidentiality, as all inferences are processed locally. These agents do not have access to private keys and cannot execute transactions autonomously; the user's cryptographic approval is required for any transaction.

These are highly experimental Smart Agents and are not intended for important decision-making. Use them solely for testing purposes. While the LLM might make mistakes, you have human wisdom to rely on.
To provide additional revenue streams for Smart Agent developers and offer more flexibility in monetization, a Smart Agent Store is being developed. This marketplace aims to ensure diversity among agents and foster competition in a fair, open market. Developers will have the opportunity to publish and monetize their Smart Agents, whether through one-time purchases, subscription models, or performance-based rewards. The marketplace will foster innovation and specialization, enabling developers to create agents tailored to diverse needs such as financial, news, projects analysis, data scraping, trading, productivity, etc. In turn, users will benefit from a wide selection of Smart Agents that democratize access to powerful Web3 AI tools.
Additionally, the Smart Agent Store will incentivize continuous improvement of Smart Agents. Developers who excel in delivering high-quality agents will rise in visibility, while user feedback and competition will drive advancements in quality and AI capabilities.
MORagents will become the de facto tool for developers to create custom agents and publish them to the Smart Agent Store. These agents will be executed remotely on Morpheus' decentralized inference engine and can be integrated into end-user applications.
